Veronica is one of our amazing Veterinary Assistant. She is typically in the treatment area, providing compassion and love to all our patients. Veronica assists technicians with vaccines, nail trims and exams. When she isn’t with our furry friends, she is often restocking supplies, calling clients when orders come in, and keeping the clinic clean and organized.
Veronica grew up in the Portland/Gresham area and moved to Medford about 4 years ago with her husband Aaron. Growing up, she lived with a family that rescued Greyhounds from the race tracks, which helped stem her deep love of all animals and wildlife. Veronica states that what she loves best about working in this field is that she likes learning about how to heal and help all the critters that come into the clinic. She has a strong desire to learn about a wide variety of animals including wild life. She would love to spend some time at Wildlife Images in the near future.
In her free time, Veronica volunteers with the great team at Sanctuary One, which is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to to be a safe place for animals and a healing place for people while promoting environmental stewardship.
Veronica has 2 rabbits, Hermes and Cookie, and 1 cat named Buddy, who is 13 years old. When asked what she enjoys most about the Rogue Valley, she stated that she enjoys the weather and all the great camping, fishing and outdoor activities, we have here.
